Welcome to My Curious George 2nd Birthday Party

Our cool Curious George hats that Mommy made.

Me and my Auntie January, cousins and friends.

Like my Curious George shirt?

My cousins Samantha, Jack and Jonathan.

My friends Spencer, Eliza and Ashton.

Uncle Ev with his friend George.
(We didn't have enough elastic to make a hat big enough for him)

Mommy read us the story of how Curious George made
boats out of newspaper and how he also flew a kite.

We all made our own boats out of newspaper
- and they actually floated!

Then we flew kites in the back yard,
just like Curious George did.

Me and Uncle Ev flying our kites in the backyard.

We all had fun playing on the swing set with Papa.

I loved my cake!

Getting ready to blow out the candles.

Samantha and Jack helped me blow out my candles.

Opening gifts with daddy.
I use the lawn mower Auntie January
and Uncle Jeff gave me all the time.

My new Spiderman motorcycle that I got from
my cousins Samantha, Jack and Jonathan.

The tent I got from my godfather Trey,
Uncle Ev, Aunt Laurie and my cousin Jackie.

Here's the man, the myth, the legend - Trey.

We set the tent up in my bedroom. With all the animals
on the walls, I felt like I was on safari in Africa.

big hunt once the sun comes up.

Owen's 2nd Birthday!

I can't believe Owen is already 2. He has changed so much over the year and is developing into an adorable little boy with a cute personality of his own. The baby phase is soon gone and the toddler years have begun.

Owen woke up on Thursday, May 14th to a new dump truck.
Owen loves trucks!

One of Owen's favorite treats is a Hostess cupcake. What a way to celebrate the big day!

He grabbed the cupcake with the candle and as you can see from his face, he was very excited.

I put Owen down for night - night and we then heard a "help" cry. This is what we found. "I am two, I am a big boy, and I am outta this bed."

Easter Monday!

What a long weekend it was! Owen was very tired on Monday! He decided he was going to chill out and play on his laptop on his couch for some of the day!

Nana & Papa gave Owen a basket with a basketball net & basketball.

Look at me dunk that basketball!

Easter Sunday!

After Owen's visit with Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Pete, we then went to January's in-laws for Easter dinner. We all had a wonderful time. Kathy & Andy did a wonderful job at preparing the meal. Owen had a wonderful time playing with all his cousins and seeing his Nana & Papa.

Easter Sunday!

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day! We went to church and heard a great message. How lucky we are to have a God who loves us so much that he sent His Son to die for us. It was nice to take the morning to reflect on how blessed we really are!
Our day started early....Church at 9am.....Then we went to see Owen's Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Pete for Easter brunch and a fun filled early afternoon.
When we arrived at their house, the Easter bunny must have come there. Owen had 12 Easter eggs to find. You can bet he found them all. He was so happy when he opened the eggs and they were filled with M&M's and jelly beans. He liked the M&M's. He tried the jelly bean and then put it back in the Easter egg and took out all the M&M's. Like father, like son. Jack's favorite candy is M&M's also.
Owen all dressed up in his Easter outfit! How handsome he is!

Owen found another Easter egg!

Wow! That is an awesome basket! I think I can see some trucks!
Owen loves trucks!

Look at all the toys!
I want to see if this chick can fly!

Grandpa has a slot machine!
It pays out like the casinos, nothin!

Taking a walk with Grandpa, Casey and Owen! Owen had a great day with his Grandma Sandy & Grandpa Pete.

Easter Saturday!

Owen is one lucky boy to have an awesome, young Godfather Trey. Owen always puts a big smile on his face when he sees him. Trey always plays with him. One of their favorite things to do together is play Football.
Trey, Abby & Owen playing football!

Owen caught the ball!

He's running for the touchdown and he scored!

Easter Saturday!

After the Easter Carnival we went to Jack's mom's house for the annual Chocolate Egg Easter Hunt and Easter dinner. As long as Jack can remember it has been tradition that instead of hiding real eggs, little chocolate eggs would be hidden and all the kids would take their Easter basket out to collect all the chocolate eggs. The best part for the kids, of course, was they were able to eat the chocolate. This is the first year that Owen was interested in finding the eggs. He was so cute and having so much fun.
Lots of eggs, which one do I choose!

Wow! Look at where that egg is!

Here are some more!
